Online shopping Haul featuring MBMJ, Chanel, Sam Edelman and Longchamp

Hello,

I've been spoiling myself again. Online shopping will be the death of me.

My new Chanel twisted band Camellia ring set. I've wanted this ring set since I saw it more than a year ago now, so when I found it online, I couldn't say no. Now they're mine and I couldn't be more excited to wear them.

As I write this, I realise that I may be sounding rather spoilt right now, but that is not the case, everything I buy is paid for with money I have worked very hard for.

Sydney with a hint of Chanel, Stila and Harry Potter

Hello Lovely readers

Haven't posted much this last week because I've been busy working and then for the last 4 days I went from Brisbane to Sydney for a holiday to see the Harry Potter exhibition.
I had a blast and here is a post with what I did and bought.
A group Photo of my Sydney purchases.
Harry Potter: The Exhibition was amazing!! The props and costumes they used are so amazing and detailed. My favourites were the Horcruxes, Buckbeak and Dobby models, a costume of Luna's and the Yule ball costumes especially Hermione's Dress, it's absolutely gorgeous. Then came the gift shop, I got myself this really awesome Gryffindor pen and a bookmark for my sister.

Stila Love at First Blush
I caved and bought the Stila Blush then the Chanel Horizon de Blush and decided that I needed the limited edition Chanel Rouge Coco in Charme so it's next on my list.

Too Faced Primed and Poreless Review

Hello Lovely Readers
I finally received my Too Faced Primed and Poreless primer so here is my thoughts on it.
This is it here. Nice pink packaging with screw top.

This primer comes out of the tube as a rather tan cream, can be a little daunting. I felt that way anyway because I'm rather fair. I use my fingers for application because I find it most convenient. As the primer spreads it blends into the skin without really adding any colour although it looks like it would, it does however leave the skin looking more even and smooth. It does have a kind of odd texture too it, it has some of the silicone-ish slip but also a creamy feel but that's fine by me. You can purchase this primer at Kit Cosmetics in Australia for $57.95 or you can purchase it though BeautyBay.com which ships to Australia for $26.80 which I did.

Once I have applied foundation over the top is when I noticed the difference, it makes my foundation go on so nicely and makes it look airbrushed. The first time I wore it I walked in the heat to work with sunnies on and my makeup didn't move or look any less perfect despite sweating and wearing sunglasses which usually takes the makeup off my nose and cheeks, I was amazed.
Overall I have nothing but good things to say about this primer. I will definitely repurchase when I run out.

It's Couture Season, loving Dior, Chanel, Alexis Mabille and Elie Saab

This past couture season has been absolutely amazing, so many gorgeous pieces.

Some of my favourites include:

Dior: Bill Gaytten has done a great job in my opinion, these pieces are my favourite, I couldn't decide on just one favourite. Dior always shows some of my favourite pieces, I love their nipped in waists and full skirts.

Alexis Mabille: I love the colour of this ensemble.

Elie Saab: No one does floaty feminine gorgeousness like Elie Saab, this particular gown reminds me of clouds on a lovely day ^_^
Chanel: Usually I love all things Chanel, however in this seasons offerings there was few looks that I liked, I'm not a fan of the extreme dropped waist. This is my favourite out of the collection.
This, however, is not couture. This look was a part of Chanel's Pre-fall collection and it is my favourite piece of the last few months. The colour, the cut, the accessories, I love it all.

Mac Prep + Prime skin Primer review

Hello lovelies,

This is MAC's Prep + Prime Skin Base Visage which is a face primer.

It is a white slightly shimmery cream although it's almost mousse-like in consistency.
I purchased this primer early in 2010 because I planned to do my own school formal make up I invested in this primer, knowing little about many other high end make up brands at the time. I was just starting to get into higher end cosmetics.

This primer is AU$45 for 30ml  in Australia and is in the mid-high price range.

This primer surprised me, a MAC make up artist used it on me so I bought it and when I got it home and used it I was rather surprised it was very noticeably shimmery on my face, almost glittery in fact (which doesn't seem to show up in photos) but it seems to work so I guess it's for radiance or something.  It's lightweight and has a touch of that silicone-y slip feeling but much much less than the Inglot primer. 3/4 pump is enough for a full facial application. It spreads easily and you can quite easily tell where it has and hasn't been applied due to the shimmeryness. It feels comfortable on the skin and makes it smooth to the touch.  I find that it does help to hide minor blemishes as well as extend the wear of my makeup though I do still lose some around my nose.

On my combination skin this primer works really well, I think it would also work for dryer skin types but it may not have enough oil control for those with oily skin, you may opt to use Mac Matte gel if you wish to keep it in the Mac family.

Overall this primer is really good and I plan to purchase again once I've used all of my Inglot primer.
